About this webinar

Presented by Beth Ottinger, Vice President, Product Management, Education, nThrive

COVID-19 has taught the health care industry the importance of business continuity and recovery planning in order to maintain productivity during business disruptions. A critical part of business continuity planning is to develop a process for colleague education to quickly place resources where they are needed most and avoid furloughs or layoffs in other areas.

An education plan provides the health care organization with cross-trained resources who can move into new roles during disruptions and help maintain productivity. It provides colleagues with a career path, demonstrating strong commitment to their growth that fosters increased quality of patient care and satisfaction, as well.

Learning objectives:

1) Understand the elements to factor into an education plan, including pre and post assessments, generational learning techniques and more
2) Discover strategies for developing internal education plans, including cross-training
3) Learn how to build and sustain positive community relations through programs to train unemployed or underemployed workers in revenue cycle careers
