What you'll learn

Join us for a panel presentation that will explore what it really means for a health system or organization to be "person-enabled" during the current pandemic and into the post-pandemic future. Panelists will present diverse perspectives and experiences relative to the key features of a person-enabled health system, including perspectives from patient/family, physicians, and how a person-enabled health system advances and strengthens quality and safety of health care systems. The panel will explore what is meaningful to people and populations, and describe approaches and strategies to progress digital transformation towards a person-enabled health system.

  • Explore the meaning of person-enabled health care during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond from the perspectives of patients, families, providers and health system leaders
  • Examine what it means for people and populations to be meaningfully connected with provider teams as partners in managing their health and wellness, and explore how person-enabled care is different from today's health care delivery models
  • Delineate how person-enabled health systems advance and strengthen quality and safety outcomes
